The Mothers' Milk Bank Home

Welcome!

The Mothers’ Milk Bank screens, collects, processes and dispenses donated human milk as a community service, providing human milk to babies whose own mothers cannot supply the milk to meet their baby’s needs.

In addition, the Mothers’ Milk Bank is a resource for health professionals and the general public in the uses and benefits of human milk, the standard in infant feeding.

A member of the Human Milk Banking Association of North America (HMBANA), the bank meets strict standards for screening of donors and processing of milk.

The Mothers’ Milk Bank, located in Denver, Colorado, is a program of The Colorado Health Foundation, a non profit organization whose mission is to improve the health and healthcare of Colorado through leadership, philanthropy and education.

The Mothers’ Milk Bank believes that human milk is a miracle and one that can and should be shared, not bought or sold for the profit of anyone. A processing fee is charged for the milk so we can cover our costs and keep our doors open to serve others in the future.
